A GPU-driven fluid simulation built around a custom GPGPU ping-pong feedback pipeline.
Built upon a custom GPGPU ping-pong feedback loop, the system simulates wave propagation and viscous damping on a dynamic 2D heightfield entirely on the GPU. Procedural water surfaces are generated by blending layered Simplex, Perlin, and Voronoi noise, while custom shaders render screen-space caustics, volumetric god rays, and depth attenuation to maintain smooth real-time performance.
The Collaboration
This project was a collaborative engineering effort.
Shifat Masud and I (Jehad) designed and engineered the simulation engine, including the GPGPU pipeline, procedural shader systems, rendering architecture, and overall technical implementation.
Monirul Polash managed client communication, project coordination, and final delivery, ensuring the production experience met project requirements.
